Beachcomber's Home Office is located just 25 minutes north of the Canada/USA border. Beachcomber's warehousing and manufacturing facilities are housed in several compounds just outside of the port city of Vancouver, B.C., in the community of Surrey. Beachcomber brand Heatshield Covers, Water Care Products, Accessories and Eco 4Wall Pumping Equipment are warehoused and/or manufactured here. A complete complement of accounting, technical, marketing and sales support operates from this original, home office location.

"Legends of the Millennium” and “Salute to the Record Breakers” Revisited

The largest mural of its kind in the world is painted and refreshed for 2011 at the request of Beachcomber Founders Keith & Judy Scott

The Beachcomber Hot Tubs and Spa Factory located in Surrey B.C. Canada is being painted once again! After 12 years, this famous painting is to undergo a complete refurbish by the original artist, Paul Ygartua. Paul is a master in portraiture, whose work has been featured around the world. You can see his artworks, history, accolades, gallery and many projects here:  www.ygartua.com  Paul is one of the premier portrait artists in the world today, with an amazing gift to work on images at many times actual life size. The faces on the Beachcomber Spa factory are over 10 feet / 305 cm high! This is one of the world’s largest paintings of its kind, at some 300 feet / 9140 cm long and 25 feet / 762 cm high, featured in two segments. The south facing wall features “Legends of the Millennium”, a collection of faces that have changed the course of history in the last 100 years. These are people who are and were dreamers, from Chief Dan George to John F Kennedy, to Terry Fox. The west facing wall features a “Salute to the Record Breakers”, showing high achieving, famous faces of personalities that have changed sport through their records and achievements, from Michael Jordan to Roger Bannister to Wayne Gretzky.

The mural was the brainchild of Beachcomber owners Keith and Judy Scott, back in 1999. As the company began to launch globally, Keith and Judy wanted to do something special to share with both the Beachcomber organization, as well as the community at large as the millennium approached. That’s where a bond was born between them and Paul, and the project was launched in May of 1999. After two months, the painting was complete, and a community party was held on site to celebrate the worldwide expansion with this mural as evidence of this special launch.
