Our humble beginnings
It was a stormy night and the team was working late to complete their first Beachcomber hot tub. Despite the cold dinners waiting at home, they got together to create what would become a revolutionary appliance in homes across North America and eventually around the world - a Beachcomber Hot Tub!
On February 14, 1978, the Scott Family founded the Beachcomber Hot Tubs factory in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, where our global headquarters and factory still reside today.
A DREAM TO BUILD BETTER QUALITY HOT TUBS
The lack of quality products then at that time, had inspired Keith Scott to "build better quality hot tubs for customers". As a family-owned business, Beachcomber had a dream of "creating a place for families to find time to connect with each other in an increasingly busy world, and to make the world a healthier and happier place.”

The Golden Hour Photoshoot
“I look back and remember we were trying to find our way, a different way, a different look, a different feel, we wanted to convey that special relaxation you feel when soaking in a Beachcomber Hot Tub. It wasn't easy, we scouted out the location a few times, brought 3 tubs to the beach and the pumps to get seawater into them. Our goal was to capture photos during the 'Golden Hour' which is that moment just before a sunset. Here we were with the photographer's girlfriend as our model and hoping to get the shot we wanted before the tide came in. As I reminisce, it really makes me appreciate where we came from and what we were able to build. We started from a pre-assembled tub with plumbing and little finishing to our product today. A product that still focuses on relaxation and creating private outdoor domains while also connecting family, friends, and loved ones, making the world a healthier and happier place.”

We are devoted to the design and building of only hot tubs. Beachcomber does not manufacture any other product; this ensures and allows us to focus 100% of our time and resources on building the best hot tubs for our customers.

RAPIDSHIP, MADE-TO-ORDER, and tailor-made hot tubs
Apart from our factory, we have 3 large development centres in Canada, we stock Rapidship and Made-to-Order hot tub models that combine our most popular colour and feature options. We also stock and distribute a variety of hot tub care products, under the Beachcomber Plus. Additionally, Beachomber manufactures Tailor-Made hot tubs that allow our customers to build the hot tub of their dreams.

People and water go back a long way. It's where life itself started - and where each one of us spent the calm, quiet few months of life. Like the oceans, with daily tides up and down, we also have a daily up and down rhythm. There is nothing like getting into a Beachcomber Hot Tub, and flow from daily stress to relaxation.
Beachcomber Salutes the
‘Legends of the Millennium’
This unique mural was commissioned in the year 2000 by Beachcomber Hot Tubs to honour and salute the icons and legends of the 20th Century. Painted by the illustrious Canadian contemporary artist, Paul Ygartua, this is his largest mural yet at 24 by 390 feet. This mural features 31 of the world’s most inspiring renowned legends and record-breakers. We are proud to share this painting with our community, and the world. These legendary people give us hope. They represent the saying ‘dreams can come true’, and show us all what can be accomplished with determination and passion.

Beachcomber funds, supports and makes financial contributions to many different charities such as supporting educational and mentoring programs for at-risk children, inner city substance abuse awareness, fighting local homelessness, helping underprivileged families, supporting societies for children with disabilities, and funding young athletes who want to compete in world class sporting events.
