Hot Tub Meditation Guide

Hot Tub Meditation Guide

Meditation has been shown to cleanse and nourish from within. It can help you feel a sense of calm and clarity, and tackle whatever the day brings more effectively. Combining it with a soak in your Beachcomber Hot Tub® can do wonders for your body and mind. Here are a few tips to get you started in your hot tub meditation practice:

Create the Perfect Environment

Start by ensuring your hot tub is set to a comfortable temperature and try to choose a time when you know it will be quieter, with fewer distractions, in your outdoor space. While you don’t have to turn off the jets, you might find it easier to start with quieter surroundings. Other helpful tips include adding SOFT to your hot tub, a water enhancer that is amazing for moisturizing skin and improving the quality of your hot tub water. Not to mention investing in a bottle of Signature Scentsations offers soothing aromatherapy for your water, without affecting the water pH balance.

Get Comfortable & Relax!

To get into the right mindset, start by taking deep breathes and letting go of your thoughts and distractions. To help with this, try focusing on your breath. Lock in on how your lungs rise and fall with each inhale and exhale. If your mind wanders, that is ok. Just collect your thoughts and then re-focus on your breathing until you are left with yourself in the present moment. If you are starting, we recommend trying 5 - 8 minutes of meditation. You might have a harder time getting into it at first, but like the age-old saying, practice makes perfect. Once you feel comfortable in your ability to let go of your surroundings, try to stay in it a bit longer. Moving up to 15 minutes a day has been shown to have the most significant pay-offs in your overall mental clarity. You’ll notice that you feel peaceful and satisfied in no time.
