To replace the grey jet face, the threaded stem needs to be removed from this part before inserting in your hot tub as the threaded portion already exists in your hot tub. You may need to use pliers to assist in releasing the grey jet face from the threaded stem. A quarter of a turn left will pop the jet face off the thread leaving you with three pieces. You can discard the threaded portion as it is not needed.
