Specially treated to be moisture, mildew and UV-ray resistant to ensure protection and longevity in any climate or environment. In addition, bonded, poly-thread stitching and marine-grade corrosionproof zippers ensure all seams withstand long-term use. The HEATSHIELD™ hinge fold is furthermore reinforced by triple stitched laminate to provide extra cover lifter support.

MARINE STRENGTH REINFORCED HANDLES

Colour-matched twin access marine stregth 8" handles are hand sewn into the main seam structure with quintuple stitched reinforcement to provide maximum strength and durability. The lock at the end of the strap securely locks down the cover to the hot tub. Some jurisdictions require proof of a locking cover prior to installation.

TAPERED SLOPE DESIGN

A sensible and effective 4" - 3" tapered and beveled design allows rain and moisture drainage. This style of construction prevents water pooling and water absorption while maintaining lightweight and maneuverability.

HIGH DENSITY HEAT-SEALED FOAM CORE INSULATION

Precisely constructed with fully encapsulated high-density foam that provides superior insulation value (up to R14.14 per inch) compressive strength and moisture resistance. It is vacuum and heat sealed ina 6mm poly-envelope moisture barrier to further maximize heat retention and HEATSHIELD™ longevity. Each foam inner has trimmed corners at a 6-inch radius to securely seal each corner for a snug fit.

20 GAUGE ALUMINUM REINFORCED CENTRE SUPPORT RIB

Lightweight, extra strength and corrosion proof C-Channels to ensure the structural integrity for the life of the hot tub cover under all conditions, even under the weight of snow load.

CONTINUOUS HEAT BUMPER SEAL

The Heat Bumper Seal is a continuous nylong web-reinforced compression barrier that is pinched between both sides of the cover to prevent heat loss and lock in steam. The Heat Bumper Seal is further capped at each end with compression caps called Steam Sealers™, further preventing heat loss and maximizing the energy efficiency of your Beachcomber Hot Tub.

150Z LAMINATED KREVLON™ INTERIOR LINER

This laminated double ply Krevlon™ barrer is on the underside of the HEATSHIELD™ and is moisture and mildew resistant. It acts as a vapour barrier for the poly-sealed foam inserts and is also equipped with integrated drain grommets that allow moisture to drain away and not get trapped while maintaining optimal strength and durability.

VACUUM SEAL TOP LIP DESIGN

A sealed barrier between the lip of the hot tub and the hot tub cover prevents entry or exit of air or moisture, coserving valuable heat. A heavy-duty custom-fitted 10.2 cm perimeter skirt wraps around the entire hot tub to ensure an airtight seal at the lip for maxiumum energy efficiency, protection against environmental contaminants and to beautify your hot tub when not in use.

VACUUM-FIT RADIUS CORNERS

Each foam inner is trimmed on two corners at a six inch radius. Once inserted, the inner seats itself securely into each corner for a very tight fit.

All Beachcomber Hot Tub HEATSHIELD™ Covers are UL Certified, and meet the American Society for Testing and Materials Standard ASTM F1346-91: the "Standard Performance Specification for Safety Covers and Labeling Requirements for All Covers for Swimming Pools, Spas, and Hot Tubs". Our covers meet or exceed all UL requirements for static load testing and undergo quarterlyl testing by UL to maintain compliance on these standards.
