Hot Tub Delivery and Installation

Hot Tub Delivery and Installation

Many people worry about the delivery and installation of their new investment when purchasing a hot tub. Do they have to organise their own collection? Will they have to set up the tub themselves, plumbing and all? What exactly do you need to set up your Beachcomber Hot Tub? Let’s answer these questions and more!

Pre-Delivery Requirements

When you purchase a hot tub, there are certain requirements for setting it up in your backyard. Every tub needs a solid base to sit on, so ensuring you have a flat, level spot in your yard to support the weight is necessary. We recommend one of the following to prepare your ground:

  • Patio blocks
  • Concrete pad
  • Crushes gravel
  • Wood decking
  • Interlocking bricks

By adding this area to your backyard, you are preventing your hot tub from sinking into the ground—making sure it lasts a lifetime. It is also important to make sure that the area you choose allows for water to drain away, because you don’t want rain or overflow to flood your hot tub equipment!

Delivery Day

When you purchase your hot tub directly from Beachcomber Hot Tubs, you can choose to pick up your tub or get it delivered straight to your curbside. Our dealerships may have other options, but this is something you can discuss in order to make the best decision for you.

If you choose our 5 Star Home Delivery, Placement, and Wet Start Service, it is important that the delivery team have a site plan. Our stores have a site survey template kit you can bring home to measure the space for your tub. This means that our team can show up and manoeuvre through your space with ease, for quick delivery.

Installation

To successfully install your Beachcomber Hot Tub, you are going to need to first install a GFCI breaker for your yard. You will need a licenced electrician to do so before the delivery day. This will ensure you are completely prepared.

With our 5 Star Home Delivery, Placement, and Wet Start Service, a Beachcomber representative will move your hot tub from the curbside to your designated area in the backyard, guide the electrical hookup and fill and balance your hot tub. This service makes the Beachcomber setup a seamless, stress-free experience.

The most important part of the delivery and installation of a Beachcomber Hot Tub is ensuring you’re prepared. Making sure your yard is ready with a suitable base for the tub, creating a simple route from the curbside to the back, and having all your electrical requirements set up. Discuss all your options and requirements with a Beachcomber specialist for delivery and installations. Find your local store here.
