HYBRID4™ vs LEEP

HYBRID4™ vs LEEP

Choosing the right hot tub can feel daunting. Between different brands, makes, and models, the options are endless. We’re here to make your life easier. Should you decide to choose a Beachcomber Hot Tub, you will face the choice between a HYBRID4® and LEEP™ model. Depending on the design and features you are looking for, it will determine the model you should go for. A hot tub brings a stress-free zone to your backyard, so choosing the correct one shouldn’t be stress inducing. This is where this guide comes in.

LEEP™ Hot Tubs

LEEP™ stands for Leaders in Energy Efficient Portables. The Beachcomber team developed the LEEP™ hot tub many years ago, with a focus on combining high quality with energy conservation. Adding a hot tub to your backyard can cause higher energy bills and Beachcomber wanted to reduce this as much as possible. That’s when they developed LEEP™.

One of the primary energy saving attributes of a Beachcomber Hot Tub LEEP™ model is the Eco3Wall 100% foam-filled insulation. Filling three out of four walls with the best insulation reduces heat loss in the tub. Alongside the insulation, the Energy Saver Eco-Pak system allows the owner to get the most out of their tubs performance. This includes temperature management, changing filtration cycles, and setting heat modes to reduce power usage.

The Perma-Seal Foundation prevents ground elements from entering the insulation of the tub, keeping it from absorbing moisture and other particles.

HYBRID4® Hot Tubs

Our HYBRID4® tubs feature the same energy efficient characteristics as the LEEP™ tubs, but with some additions. This model of hot tub can operate in any climate, including harsh winters. The additional features include the Hush Pump System™. This is a quiet way to heat and clean your hot tub, while using a very small amount of energy.

The Cab-Forward Engineered Pak allows for an upgrade on the ECO3WALL insulation to ECO4WALL 100% foam filled insulation. By putting the electrical and pumping equipment on the exterior of the wall, it creates easy access to the parts while also allowing for further insulation. It also doubles as the SAFEAXISS™ step, making entering and exiting the hot tub more accessible and safer for use.

When choosing the correct hot tub for your home, it is important to know what you are looking for. Cost and size will pay a major factor in how you decide, but don’t forget to investigate the unique features of the different models. What can appear less expensive initially can work out costing more in the long term. At Beachcomber Hot Tubs, we try to prevent this with both of our hot tub models.Check out our energy calculator here and find out what is best for you!
